New Delhi, May 19 | The Gurgaon Collapsing series gets the prestigious INMA honor
Hindustan Times won the first place in the Public Relations and Community Service category at the prestigious INMA (International Newsmedia Marketing Association) awards at Miami, USA on May 15.
HT won the award for its Gurgaon Collapsing’ campaign a five part series by correspondent Sanjeev K Ahuja which brought to fore the breakdown of the civic infrastructure in Gurgaon.
Another India newspaper Dainik Bhaskar won third place in the same category for Janta Ka Manifesto “(Public Manifesto)”.Dagens Nyheter of Sweden earned the third place
The INMA Awards 2009 received 531 entries from about 157 newspapers in 43 different countries in categories in three circulation groups; under 75,000, 75,000-300000 and over 300,000
HT won the award in the 300,000 circulation jury included executives in the media, advertising, marketing, and research industries across the world .
